Not all of our Date Lab set-ups have been moonlight-kissed affairs. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we want to give some past Date Lab singles another chance at romance. Think you could make better matches? Now's your chance to help us out.
Vote For Your Favorite Re-Dater
We've convinced eight good-hearted former Daters to give this experiment another go. Vote for the one you think deserves another Washington Post-funded dinner out with a total stranger. The man and woman who receive the most votes as of 5 p.m., January 14, will be granted that evening out -- and will have $500 each donated in their names to their chosen charities.

Nominate the Perfect Match -- and Win
Think you know the perfect match for one of these guys or gals? Drop us an e-mail at
vday@washpost.com, and let us know! Use 200 words or less to nominate yourself, your friend, your brother, your cubicle-mate, -- just make sure you put the prospective Re-Dater's name in the subject line and include a digital photo of your nominee, along with e-mail addresses and phone numbers for both of you. (E-mails without photos and contact info will not be considered.) We'll pick three finalists for each of the winning Re-Daters; they will choose the nominee they want to dine with. If your nominee makes the final cut, you'll be rewarded with a $125 dinner for two at the restaurant of your choice.
