Chatman had her closet professionally organized for her wardrobe and extensive purse collection. Now she needs to redo the rest of her 10 1/2 -by-12-foot bedroom. "I have tried everything from changing the paint color (twice) to scaling down the furniture to make it appear larger and more organized," she writes in an e-mail. The bedroom needs more task lighting and window treatments. Most important, Chatman says, it needs to be warm and restful.
