So you have your Nationals tickets and one of those cool "DC" caps. Now what you need is a place to grab happy hour drinks and eats beforehand, or discuss the game with friends over a pitcher of beer after the last out has been called. Those who travel to Baltimore know RFK Stadium isn't as well situated as Oriole Park; RFK's neighbors include houses, parking lots, the D.C. Armory and not much else.

But there is another option: take Metro to nearby neighborhoods. Even if you're driving to the games, it's easy to hop on the Metro and ride to Eastern Market (two stops and roughly three minutes away) or Capitol South (three stops, five minutes), which have bustling commercial strips full of places to grab a bite or a pint.
