Skulls Go Chic
The popularity of skulls has spread well beyond the "Pirates of the Caribbean" contingent, showing up in such surprisingly posh places as Alexander McQueen's fall collection. It's "a phenomenon," says Paula Correri, accessories editor at retail trend forecaster the Tobe Report. "This trend has become so mainstream, yet there is this allure, this spin of sophistication that has been put on it, moving it away from the bubble gum teen market."
