washingtonpost.com's Entertainment Guide has a new look and feel and a new name, City Guide.

City Guide has a more dynamic search that gives you fine-tuned listings of your entertainment options around the Washington area. These entertainment listings feature reviews from our reporters and editors -- and from readers like you. Whether you're organizing a night out, touring the area or entertaining out-of-town visitors, City Guide simplifies your planning.

With City Guide's new design, you can explore the region by typing a keyword in the search box, or you can browse by category or date. If you type your neighborhood, city or Zip code in the location search box, you will get the places and events near you. You can even refine your search results to find the items that are free, reviewed by your favorite writer or recommended as kid-friendly. Event and location pages now feature maps to give you driving directions and show you what else is nearby.

We hope you'll use City Guide to discover new spots and revisit old favorites as well as to uncover the vast amount of activities going on in the metro area. Our local experts behind City Guide, the Going Out Gurus, will continue to give you advice about restaurants, bars, museums, movies, performing arts and more. We encourage you to share your opinions through our reader reviews. We'd also love to hear your thoughts about the new City Guide. Send your comments to CityGuideHelp@washingtonpost.com.
