Chente: Used to describe recent immigrant students who may look new to this country and who dress differently than American students.

Ghetto: Sometimes used favorably to describe a cool hip-hop song. Other times used negatively about something that looks shabby or too chente.

Tight: Close friends. Or when something is sweet, like a touch or a kiss.
