"My priority is a lean government that performs core functions, like education and transportation, well without raising taxes. I hope to earn your vote."
"Education. If elected I will work to ensure that our children receive the education they deserve. Right now our schools are failing our kids. I will fight to hold teachers and schools accountable for results as well as for adequate funding. We should also allow schools to place violent and disruptive students in alternative classes so that students who want to can learn. Education is important for our economy, too. American industry is the most productive and innovative in the world. But, without educated employees, how long can we expect that to last?"
