"The biggest issue facing the district is managing growth and its costs. Sadly, the General Assembly still won't acknowledge that unbridled growth leads to higher property taxes, crowded schools, clogged roads and loss of open space. Our legislators refuse to grant localities basic authority to better manage growth, and they grossly underfund public education. The 27th District needs a state senator who will support our local communities, stand up for our children's education and ensure a better future for all citizens."
