"As the only candidate who is a lifelong native and has experience in Richmond, I know firsthand the problems that area families face."
"Property taxes in Northern Virginia are too high. Rising taxes are placing an undue burden on young families and seniors. Every Northern Virginia family has carried on their backs a tax burden that is already more than what they pay for food, clothing and shelter combined. I do not believe that Virginians are undertaxed, but that the state government has lost its sense of priority. I will work to limit property tax increases and refocus the state on the core priorities of education, transportation and public safety while expanding the tax base by growing the economy."
