"The most urgent problem facing the 41st District is the lack of equitable funding from the state government. Northern Virginia provides the state with significantly more revenue than it receives in services from the state. This lack of equitable funding has resulted in the following: inadequate roads, which have resulted in increased pollution and a loss of productivity; inadequately funded public schools; and higher taxes. I will fight for a more equitable distribution of funds so that Fairfax County can reduce local taxes while addressing the 41st District's major problems: public schools, productivity, roads and air quality."
