"Gov. Warner has agreed to work together to solve our transportation problems; as a result, I know I'll be able to accomplish the people's priorities."
"Uncontrolled growth is the most serious issue facing the 52nd District. Due to a lack of vision and inadequate planning, eastern Prince William is facing massive traffic congestion, overcrowded schools and high taxes. We must realize that until local jurisdictions work together in partnership with the state to manage growth, the problems we are facing today will get worse. As we work together to develop long-term solutions, we must address the short-term needs of this community so our commutes become bearable, our children are able to learn inside a classroom instead of a trailer and our tax burden is relieved."
