"Based on discussions with residents of Blue Ridge, there are three distinct issues that concern the residents of Blue Ridge. Transportation, taxes and growth dominate the concerns of Blue Ridge residents. Ironically, the order of importance is directly related to their geographic location and financial status. However, it is the transportation and taxes that have an immediate impact on the voter and their family's financial future. While the issue of growth is a concern, the belief that stopping growth west of Route 15, as my opponent wishes to do, will only result in stagnation and higher taxes for all."
