"My education, experience and dedication to the job make me the most qualified candidate. I have the time and energy necessary to serve."
"Unbridled residential growth is Loudoun's biggest problem. It has led to crowded schools, traffic congestion, sky-rocketing long-term debt and rising taxes to pay for services and infrastructure, particularly the 32 new schools built or under construction since 1993. Just since 2000 when this board took office, 55,000 new people have moved to Loudoun, requiring 16 new schools to open. The new growth-control measures passed by the current board in January 2003¿which I advocated, supported and voted for¿must be kept in place long enough to take effect. The development community is backing candidates who intend to overturn those measures."
