"As a small-business owner, I am running to improve the business climate in Loudoun County. With a decline in the percentage of revenue from nonresidential sources, I am concerned that working families are paying too high a share for local government. We must do better to attract new and diverse businesses to Loudoun County. Improving our transportation systems, including mass transit to Dulles and expanding Route 659, Route 28, Route 50 and the Loudoun County Parkway, will help attract new businesses. Education investment also attracts economic development, and I will ensure sufficient funding for Loudoun's public schools."
