"My demonstrated leadership on growth management, transportation, economic development, supporting public schools and keeping my promises that I made to the voters four years ago!"
"Managing growth, transportation improvements, expanding the business base, public education and the burden of development on the backs of taxpayers. Our 'smart growth' plan saves $1.8 billion in infrastructure costs and removes hundreds of thousands future car trips off the roads. We need to defend this plan from the lawsuits by the developers¿the same developers backing developer attorney Bob Gordon. Developers should pay more through impact fees to offset construction costs for schools and other public facilities. Also, with the interchange improvements beginning on Route 28 we need to proceed with improvements to Routes 50, 659 and 7."
