"I am committed to improving student performance. I will continue to work tirelessly with educators, parents and elected officials to improve education in Loudoun's schools."
"Providing a safe and quality education for our students in a rapidly growing school system is the most critical issue facing our School Board. Loudoun County is the fastest-growing county in the commonwealth and the second-fastest nationwide. Our student population will increase more than 3,500 students during the current school year. Additionally, there is a turnover of 2,000 or more students each year as families relocate. Even with this tremendous growth, Loudoun County was the largest school district in the commonwealth to have all eligible schools meet or exceed the Standards of Learning in the 2002-03 school year."
