"I am experienced as a board member and constructively active in Broad Run District schools my children attend.
I have strong a financial, legal and operational background."
" 'School roulette' remains problematic yet has clearly definable and legally supportable solutions. The concept that Loudoun County can force a child (at its whim when they could walk to the local school) to board a bus to a more distant school needs to stop. The disruption to our children has been drastically understated by Loudoun planners. As the Broad Run District representative, I will press for 'walking distance geography' to be established around our schools allowing parents to at least opt-in to the nearest school permanently! I will address the insufficient proffer problem, school discipline policies and class sizes."
