"My experience in successfully representing Sterling Park parents and students prepares me to bring to fruition my proposed improvements to Rolling Ridge and Sterling Middle."
"Continuing to improve the quality of our schools. We've made remarkable progress since 1999. However, we face rigorous requirements that oblige us to improve instruction if we are to remain 100 percent fully accredited academically. With substantially reduced class sizes in older buildings, student test scores have increasedwe have actually improved schools. Demographic changes in my community make it imperative to continue hiring highly qualified teachers and expanding English as a second language and special education. Building quality has been addressed at Park View, Sterling, Guilford and Sully; however, some of our most urgent building renovation needs remain unmet."
