"I will fight for the underprivileged, civil rights and choice. My experience working for Gov. Mark Warner will make me a more effective delegate."
"Property tax relief for fixed-income and retired people and eliminating the sales tax on groceries. Richmond cuts too many vital programs and passes the buck to our local governments. Localities have few revenue options besides real estate taxes on homeowners to fund key needs like education. I want to free localities to look for other forms of revenue and increase the amount of state funding that returns to our area so the choice is not between preschool programs and higher taxes. Local taxpayers and schoolchildren must stop paying for the shortsightedness of Richmond."
