"The lack of infrastructure investment over the past decade due to an outmoded state and local tax structure. The state has failed to keep the promises made to us for school and transportation funding, and Fairfax County has had to spend more to make up the difference. That means higher real estate taxes, more trailers at our children's schools and congested roads. That is not fair for us, our kids or our families. I want to go back to Richmond to fight for increased state funding for transportation, public schools and higher education, while relieving the real estate tax burden."
