"Transportation! In my southern Fairfax district, we have seen miraculous accomplishments. I am proud to be part of the team that delivered the following: reconstruction of the I-95/395/495 interchange, widening of Route 123, repaving of Keene Mill, enactment of a Fullerton/Rolling "no truck" restriction, and establishment and expansion of the Springfield Metro and VRE. However, more needs to be done. In this new session, I will continue to promote my Beltway rail proposal. Closer to home, I will continue my work on widening Rolling Road, improving the safety of Hooes Road and finally finishing the Fairfax County Parkway."
