Warner to allocate road funds to widen Interstate 66 to the Route 234 bypass. Congressman [Thomas M.] Davis came to Haymarket recently to discuss extending VRE with me. This will reduce I-66 traffic. I worked to pass a law that allowed Fairfax and Loudoun counties to build overpasses at six busy intersections on Route. 28. I introduced bills to make all home developers, not just the little guys, pay for . . . schools, roads, rail and other capital improvements."
