Why should voters elect you?"Voters should elect me because of my proven record of public service, my seniority and my willingness to work for the betterment of the commonwealth."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?"Transportation. Through serving on the Transportation Subcommittee of the Tax Restructuring Commission, I will work to increase funding for transportation needs statewide. As evidenced by last year's referendums, regional solutions do not appear feasible. Current scenarios under investigation include public-private partnerships, toll roads, statewide increase in motor fuel taxes and change in the distribution formula so funds may be concentrated in areas of greatest need, not constructing four-lane undivided roads in areas of little traffic."
