"Transportation. Through serving on the Transportation Subcommittee of the Tax Restructuring Commission, I will work to increase funding for transportation needs statewide. As evidenced by last year's referendums, regional solutions do not appear feasible. Current scenarios under investigation include public-private partnerships, toll roads, statewide increase in motor fuel taxes and change in the distribution formula so funds may be concentrated in areas of greatest need, not constructing four-lane undivided roads in areas of little traffic."
