Biography:

David Brigham grew up in Rochester, N.Y., and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Brigham worked in the accounting field for seven years in Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts and Florida before joining the FBI in 1980. He served as a special agent accountant investigating embezzlement and bank fraud cases in Florida for a year before transferring to a similar position in El Paso.

He left the bureau in 1983 but stayed in El Paso, becoming a stock broker and taking a job with Wells Fargo in 1987. He worked as an investment portfolio manager and senior vice president of investments for the El Paso region until 2001, when he started his own investment advising firm.

Brigham is divorced with three grown children.
