Biography:

Randy Camacho was born in Phoenix, Ariz., and spent his childhood working agricultural jobs to help his family make ends meet. He received a bachelor's degree in history from Ottawa University and a master's degree in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix.

Camacho has spent his employment life in education, which includes working as a teacher's aide, bus driver, custodian and security guard. He has taught history at Westview High School in Avondale, Ariz., for 13 years.

Camacho is president of the Wolverine-Knights Foundation, which raises money for college scholarships and education-related activities. He is a sponsor of CloseUp, a program that gives students an opportunity to see government firsthand.

Camacho lives in Goodyear, Ariz., with his wife and two daughters.
