Biography:
Raymond L. Chukwu was born in Sonoma, Calif., in 1953 and moved to Nigeria after his mother's death. His father died shortly thereafter and he was raised by his grandmother. He also lived in Paris.
Chukwu earned a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering from Tri-State University in Angola, Ind., in 1983.Chukwu first worked in the aerospace industry for Lockheed Missiles in Sunnyvale (now Lockheed Martin) as an aerodynamic specialist. He was president and CEO of Bio Chemical Technology Aerospace from 1989 to 1992.
Since 1992, he has worked at Black Technologies Advancement Research Institute as chief business strategist.
Chukwu is married to Debbie, his wife of five years, and lives in San Jose, Calif.
