Biography:

Geoffrey "Geoff" Davis was born in Montreal but raised in West Pittsburgh, Pa. His parents were divorced soon after he was born. He attended public schools in West Pittsburgh and received an appointment to West Point. He then spent six years in the Army as a ranger and assault helicopter pilot.

He left the Army in 1987 with the rank of captain and began working in the aerospace and technology industries. Davis founded Capstone Inc., a manufacturing and technology-systems consulting business, in 1992.

Davis and wife, Pat, have six children.


Past Campaigns:

Geoff Davis is making his second run for Congress. In 2002, he easily won the Republican nomination but narrowly lost to Democratic U.S. Rep. Ken Lucas. Davis again handily won the GOP nomination this May over two first-time candidates. He faces Democrat Nick Clooney in November.
