Silvia Delamar was born in Vidalia, Ga., and lives in Conyers, Ga. She graduated early from Wheeler County High School and earned a political science degree from Oxford at Emory by age 20.
After that, Delamar worked in finance for Beacon Van Lines and took extra business classes from DeVry University and the University of Phoenix.
Since 1999, Delamar has been an executive team leader for Target Stores. Her responsibilities include overseeing company financial matters and strategic planning for guest services.
