Biography:
Michael Robert Dugas was born August 19, 1977, in Miami, Florida, but spent his first five years in Saudi Arabia where his father was an airplane pilot for the Saudi royal family.
He later moved to Boca Raton, Fla. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in statistics from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He moved to California in 2000 to pursue a doctorate in statistics at the University of California, Davis.
He's single and has no children.
