Biography:
Dave Eversman was born and raised in Columbus, Ga., where he now lives.
He attended Pacelli High School in Columbus and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1977, receiving a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
Since then, he has worked in broadcasting in the Columbus area, including stints as a broadcast sales manager and public relations manager.
In 1999, he was named CEO of the Southwest Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
He is a member of St. Anne Catholic Church where, at age 26, he was named congregation president. He has served as a lector at the church for the past 25 years.
His civic involvement includes serving on the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors and various committees of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
He has been a youth league baseball and soccer coach for several years.
Eversman is divorced with three children.
