Why should voters elect you?
"I believe that I am an effective, hardworking leader and if reelected will continue to represent the values and best instincts of my constituents."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue facing the 5th Congressional District is securityensuring a strong national defense and protecting our homeland. We must give our armed forces the resources they need to win the war on terrorism. I also believe we must ensure that our first responders are properly trained and equipped. At the same time, we must enact fiscally responsible policies that create jobs and foster economic growth and opportunity. I also will continue to fight for sufficient education funding and high standards that ensure our children are learning and policies that make health care more affordable and accessible."
