Upon receiving his law degree, he worked for a year in corporate sales for Exxis GSC Corp., then spent a year as an associate for the Trenton law firm of Boyd & Boyd before setting up his Woodbury-based law practice.

Hutchison, who also has an office in Mt. Holly, specializes in consumer law. He and his wife, Karen, have four children and live in Gloucester Township.

Past Campaigns:

This is Daniel Hutchison's first run for public office.

He defeated John Cusack by only 12 votes in a primary in June. Cusack conceded rather than requesting a recount, citing health problems.

The Gloucester County Republican Party kicked Hutchison off the coveted first line of the primary ballot after it was reported that his firm had made a donation to the Democratic Party after announcing his candidacy as a Republican. He said he was paying for a lawyer who works for him to attend a dinner.
