Biography:
Chuck James was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on May 1, 1942. He spent 30 years in military service, with 20 years on active Army duty and 10 years in the National Guard and Reserve.
James held the rank of lieutenant colonel. After he completed his military career, he obtained his law degree and became a law professor at Enterprise Ozark Community College in Enterprise, Ala.
He taught until August 2003 and is now retired and managing several rental properties.
James and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children and six grandchildren.
