Why should voters elect you? "I bring a new voice and new energy to represent us in Congress. I'm a proven leader, dedicated and determined to move our district forward."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction? "Transportation. My district needs and deserves a transportation system for the 21st century. We need a transportation system to support a strong economic base. We must make smart decisions on where to build new roads, add mass transit and add operational improvements. By doing this, we will lessen commute times, save money and improve our quality of life. For too long, Maryland has sent more federal highway dollars to Washington than it has received. This must change. More federal dollars will allow the state to complete many overdue highway construction projects while creating more jobs for Maryland."
