Biography:
Bryan Kennedy was born on Feb. 4, 1970, in Hagerstown, Md. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1994 and received his master's degree in 1997 and his doctor's degree in 2000 from the University of North Carolina-Chapel.
He studied in Spain and Brazil and did missionary work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Portugal. He is now a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Portuguese language program.
His is married with three children.
