Biography:
Bev Kilmer was born in Detroit, Mich., and lives in Quincy, Fla. She serves as a Republican state representative in the Florida Legislature.
A former hairdresser, she and her husband, Larry, and a son, Kirk, own All-Tech Southeast Inc., a security and access control manufacturing and distribution business. She is vice president of the company but does not take an active role in the business.
The Kilmers have two other children, Ken Kilmer and Teresa Dean.
Past Campaigns:
Bev Kilmer is making her first run for Congress in 2004 against 2nd District incumbent Rep. Allen Boyd. She was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 1998 and re-elected to two more terms in 2000 and 2002.
