Biography:

Robert Lucas was born in 1974 in the San Francisco Bay area of California, where he grew up the son of a 20-year Navy man.

He graduated from Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead, Calif., in 1993, then enlisted in the Army. Lucas was honorably discharged in 1997 as a private first class after serving for four years at Fort Knox, Ky., Fort Leonardwood, Mo., and Fort Campbell, Ky.

He is a sophomore at the University of Phoenix Online, where he is studying for a degree in business administration. Lucas works as a quality assurance manager for a telemarketing company.

He and his wife, Wendy, have two children.
