Biography:

Richard Piatkowski was born on Sept. 13, 1945, in Jersey City, N.J., and lives in Perth Amboy, N.J.

He attended Montclair State College, majoring in math and education. He also studied at the Control Data Institute and the Professional School of Business in Union, N.J., where he focused on computer programming and operations.

He has been a real estate broker since 1975, and is currently working for Weichert, Realtors in Edison, N.J.

He is also a former Woodbridge Township scool board member.

Past Campaigns:

Richard Piatkowski was a candidate for the office of Middlesex County Surrogate in 1984.

He is a former member of the Woodbridge Township Board of Education, where he served on the Building and Grounds, Insurance, Supply and Transportation committees.

Piatkowski ran unopposed in the GOP primary for the House 13th District.
