Biography:
Born in Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey, Timothy Robb is a U.S. Navy veteran and former casino craps dealer in Atlantic City, N.J.
A lifelong Democrat, he has been involved in municipal politics for more than a decade, serving as a Democratic committeeman since 1992 and as Democratic chairman for the city since 1996.
Trained as aviation mechanic during a five-year Navy stint, Robb now works as a commercial refrigeration technician. Never married, he is the father of a 6-year-old girl and is engaged to be married to Leonora Pilao Dwyer.

Timothy Robb has run for elected office twice before, losing bids for the Brigantine City Council in 1998 and again in 2000.
