Biography:

Steve Thompson was born and raised in Logan, Utah, and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in political science.

Thompson has been a city councilman in Logan, Utah, since 1996. He has a background in business, and has founded two companies. He started TAKI Casuals, a company that manufactures custom merchandise, in 1985, and founded a media production company, On Tour Pictures, in 1998.

He is a member of Coalition For Utah's Future and served on the executive committee from 1999 to 2001.

Thompson and his wife, Tamara, have been married for 15 years.


Past Campaigns:

Steve Thompson won a seat on the Logan City Council in 1996 and was re-elected in 1998, 2000 and 2002.

He lost a bid for the council in 1994.
