Biography:

Erin Zweigart was born in Sparta, Ill. and resides in Evansville, Ill. She graduated from Belleville Area College, now called Southwestern Illinois College, in 1996 with an associate's degree in political science.

She received a bachelor's degree in 1998 in political science from Southern Illinois University and a law degree in 2002 from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, Calif.

Zweigart is a licensed attorney in California and Illinois. She is an associate at David Hicks & Associates in Maryville, Ill.

From September 2000 to November 2001, she worked at the library in Placentia, Calif., where she was a tutor in English as a second language. She was a research clerk for Golden State Foods Inc. in the summer of 2001, a clerk at the Orange County District Attorney's office from August 2001-December 2001, and a legal clerk at XOXO Clothing in California from November 2001-April 2002.She also taught in the paralegal department at Southwestern Illinois College from June 2003-December 2003.
