Biography:

Al King is a Klamath County cattle rancher who was born in Napa, Calif., and now resides in Malin, Ore.

He previously held administrative posts in the California Justice Department and also worked as a municipal judge. He's a former Klamath County GOP chairman and former vice chairman of the state Republican Party.

He received a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California and his bachelor's degree from California State University at Sacramento.

King and his wife, Kathy, have one daughter.
