Biography:
Jack Orchulli was born in Easton, Pa., and lives in Darien, Conn. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Rutgers University in 1968 and received a master's degree in finance from B.M. Baruch College in 1971.
Orchulli worked as a pharmaceutical salesman and in real estate before partenering with fashion designer Michael Kors in 1981.
During his 21 years at the design label, Orchulli watched the company's products gross $100 million at its peak. He left in January 2003 to pursue a U.S. Senate seat.
Orchulli is divorced and has one son, Andrew.
