Biography:
Jack Davis founded the I Squared R Element Co. in his garage in 1964 and has overseen its growth into one of the largest manufacturers of silicon carbide heating elements.
He received an engineering degree from the University at Buffalo in in 1955 and served in the Marine Corps Reserves and the Coast Guard Reserves.
Before founding his company, Davis worked as a maintenance engineer for Chevrolet and as a sales engineer at Carborundum.
