Biography:

Michael Jaliman, of Brewster, N.Y., is a strategic and organizational consultant who has advised major corporations, non-profits, and governments.

He holds an MBA from Harvard University, where he founded the Harvard Business School Leadership Forum. He earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin where, as student body president, he led some of the largest anti-Vietnam War protests in the nation.

He has been involved in a number of charitable educational projects. He founded the Jonas Salk Institute for Applied Creativity, which collected surplus computers and donated them to needy students at selective New York City high schools. He also founded the Free School in Great Neck, N.Y., which became the Village School, a degree-granting alternative public high school.

Jaliman and his wife, Kathryn, have one son.
