Alan Lee Parks was born and raised in Fairmont, Marion County. A 1978 graduate of Fairmont Senior High, Parks received an associate degree in civil engineering technology from Fairmont State College.
Parks has worked in the construction and excavation business for the last 25 years. He is married and the father of two children.
