Biography:

Gerald Boyle Jr. was born on June 15, 1972, in Milwaukee, where he now lives. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in 1994 and then joined the Marine Corps for a five-year stint. He then went to law school at Pepperdine University and joined the Marine Reserves.

He passed the bar exam in Wisconsin after graduating in 2002 and was called up to active duty that fall in Iraq. He returned to Wisconsin after a year in Iraq and resumed his law career. He is a major in the reserves.

He was married in September 2004.


Past Campaigns:

Gerald Boyle Jr. is making his first bid for political office. He narrowly beat Corey Hoze in the GOP primary despite a series of party heavyweights throwing their weight behind his opponent, who also snagged a short speaking spot at the party's convention in New York.
