Biography:

Randy Kuhl, a New York state senator, has spent two dozen years in Albany politics beginning with his election to the Assembly in 1980. He was first elected to the state Senate in 1986.

He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Union College in Schenectady in 1966, then a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1969.

A practicing attorney with an office in Bath, Kuhl is divorced from his wife, Jennifer. They have three sons and live in Hammondsport.
