Biography:
Dave Magnum was born in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., and now resides in Pardeeville. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison briefly before dropping out to resume his radio career.
He began acquiring radio stations in 1991 and at one point the Magnum Group grew to more than 12 licenses.
His wife, Lynn, died in 2002 after a six-year battle with breast cancer. He has two sons.
Past Campaigns:
This is Dave Magnum's first bid for elected office. He defeated Ron Greer in the 2004 Republican primary with 61 percent of the vote.
