Biography:
Ruben Zamora was born in Union City, Ind., one of 11 children in a Mexican-American immigrant family.
He now lives in Aurora, Ill., where he recently completed eight years of substitute teaching for the local school district and earned his master's degree in education from Aurora University.
He also has over a decade of experience in food service management, manufacturing and retail.
He and his wife, Nadia, have two teen-age sons.
